Who hears the name Jim Henson, and automatically thinks of his most famous creations show’s like The Muppets Shows or Sesame Street, but in these days it is hard for someone who knows his darkest works as The Dark Crystal (1982) or Labyrinth (1986).
Both universes are so huge and fantastic with such complexity, still barely explored. It’s simply impossible to watch any of these movies and not to question what if he had some continuation or some expansion of these marvellous universes, and gladly there are.
The film Labyrinth does not have a sequel, but a novel from the movie, wrote by A.C.H Smith and Henson, illustrated by Brian Froud, telling deleted parts from the movie. Also exists a manga series called Return to Labyrinth, focused on Toby and the plans of Jareth of still turn him the next Goblin King.
