Amazon Prime’s neo-noir fantasy Carnival Row, created by René Echevarria and Travis Beacham sees award winning actors Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevingne struggling for justice and survival in an alternate Victorian London with an obvious and inequitable societal oppression of any creature that is not human.
With the Faerie deemed as “other” and living in close propinquity amongst the ruling humans, regardless of class – The show’s capital city, The Burgue, is fraught with danger and bloody homicide.
With an extremely positive reception and with a second series already confirmed in July – A month before its release in August,
Series 1 portrays a gripping and gritty 8 part thriller romance which will stimulate the viewer to be engulfed in the precise lore and quality of the storyline without the sceptics attempting to eradicate the authenticity with their eye for shoddiness – Of which there is none in any aspect.
