Zenith Ander – Actor and Writer
I have been in the entertainment industry all of my adult life. I moved to Los Angeles nearly six years ago to continue to act from Australia, and boy oh boy has it been an adjustment.
Without going into the societal and cultural reasons of the adjustments, what I want to talk about is the anxiety that I believe is universal amongst artists. If you’re not in this category of artists, this article is not for you.
Please feel free to go about your day as your emotionally impenetrable free self. If this resonates with you, however, read on.
When someone in a normal 9-5 situation, say, loses their job, the inevitable often miserable and dehumanizing process of applying and interviewing for a new job begins.
The word on the street is that the older you get, the harder this is for people. Now, consider your own job.
